Abstract   |   Authors   |   References
The issues concerning the research on the quality of life and its measurement in modern conditions are of particular importance in the light of the implemented directions to achieve sustainable economic growth and innovative development of the country. It is no coincidence that the tasks of providing a positive impact on the quality of life of Russian citizens are outlined in the state programs and strategies. The main hypothesis of the present study is that the management of the quality of life in Russian regions will be more effective if it represents a scientifically substantiated system of tools based on the assessment of the quality of life, taking into account regional characteristics. The study uses methods of mathematical statistics and modeling to presents the results of assessing the factors that have a complex impact on the quality of life in Russian regions. The empirical base of the study is the data of the Federal State Statistics Service for 80 constituent entities of the Russian Federation for the period from 2010 to 2015. Through the implementation of the correlation pleiades algorithm, two main groups of factors (economic conditions and the development of science), as well as a number of single, unrelated factors are identified. With the help of regression analysis, taking into account the structure of panel data, a number of models of the quality of life are constructed and their meaningful analysis is carried out. It is established that among the most statistically significant factors in modern Russian conditions, the quality of life is influenced mostly by the indicators of economic growth, housing construction, infrastructure development and cultural characteristics. In conclusion, the author points out the necessity of taking into account the factors under consideration when specifying measures of social policy
